Richard is certified to instruct and guide his students through alignment based vinyasa and restorative yoga. He is a 500 RYT instructor. He has trained with Annie Carpenter (SmartFlow) and Tiffany Russo.
We live fast lives and yoga teaches us to slow down. As the practice taught me to pay attention it also slowly reconnected me with my true self. The practice helps shed my ego, so I can see and hear what is going on. I try my best to walk back into the world centered.
I teach to share what I know, what I believe works. I share this beautiful knowledge and understanding that has transformed the way I live. The physical practice brings us somewhere deeper when we are ready.
Yoga is what you need when you need it. It's important to remember there are no "quick fixes" with yoga. It takes practice, dedication and consistency.
As an athlete I pushed myself to the edge all the time. I pushed past pain and into discomfort to be better, not realizing I was harming my body.
Yoga has given me that chance to slow it down. It has helped me progress as an athlete, but more importantly as an individual. Yoga taught me to push, but with ease. It brought a sweet sense of love into my life and those around me.
